Who is this package for?
This package is ideal for guests who want to combine the highlights of the Frisian Wadden Coast with an exploration of the iconic landscape of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden (Frisian Woodlands).
During your stay, you will enjoy a day trip to Ameland, where you can explore the island at your own pace, with its wide beaches, dunes, charming villages, and beautiful cycling and walking routes. In addition, you will cycle a varied route of approximately 60 to 70 kilometres through the Wadden Sea region and the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden.
The cycling route on day 3 takes you along the Dokkumer Ee, past the Eleven Cities Monument, and towards Veenwouden. You will then cycle through the Bûtefjild, a unique nature area offering peace and open space. Via the historic town of Dokkum, you will return to Holwerd.
The combination of a day on Ameland and a cycling adventure through the Frisian mainland makes this package a wonderful way to experience the diversity of the Wadden region.
Starting days:
During July and August, you can start this tour on any day of the week. Once we receive your booking, we will check availability with the accommodation provider. If your preferred dates are available, we will confirm your trip immediately.
From September onwards, this package is available on weekdays only.
