The New Wâlden Bike Tour – Friday, June 13

Cycle, discover, and experience three unique open-air museums in the Fryske Wâlden

Start your day at the open-air museum De Spitkeet in Harkema and choose one of two scenic routes:

• Short route: approximately 30 km – via De Kruidhof

• Long route: approximately 60 km – via De Kruidhof and De Sûkerei

Along the way, you’ll visit three remarkable museums:

• De Kruidhof in Buitenpost – a large botanical garden with over 2,000 plant species

• De Sûkerei in Damwâld – presents life around the year 1900 and offers a taste of chicory coffee

• De Spitkeet – shows how people lived in turf huts and simple homes between 1850 and 1950

At the finish, enjoy live music and a treat at De Spitkeet.
Coffee and cake are included in the entry fee.
