My name is Sytze (36), and together with Rob (48) and Nicole (50), I run Friesland Holland Travel. With this travel agency, we focus entirely on one province: Friesland.
As a born-and-bred Frisian and native of Holwert, I, like many young people from the Frisian countryside, was ready to leave my hometown as a teenager. It was time to broaden my horizons and explore the world. That journey took me from teaching in North Korea to spending months guiding Belgian and Dutch travelers through Peru and Bolivia. These international experiences were invaluable in every respect, but in hindsight, they were also temporary. Eventually, I felt the urge again: time for a new challenge. And where better to find that than in Friesland?
Friesland truly has it all: a strong identity, the Wadden Islands, the Frisian Woods, the Frisian Lakes, national parks, and of course the famous Eleven Cities Route. A province that never ceases to surprise.
With great pleasure, we sell complete travel packages in collaboration with more than 60 partners across Friesland. Our offerings continue to grow – Friesland, fortunately, never stands still. In addition to individual cyclists, we also focus on group travel, new regions within Friesland, and fresh partnerships. Our guests come from all over the world, and it is an honor to showcase Friesland in this way.
We operate with clear guarantees and a lot of personal attention. It is important to me to always be accessible to our guests – before, during, and after their trip.

Friesland Holland Travel is available five days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. by phone: +31 (0) 6 20 58 10 98 for consultations.
Trips can only be booked through the website www.www.frieslandhollandtravel.nl – due to the guarantee fund, it is not possible to accept telephone bookings.

To comply with the legally required guarantee, Friesland Holland Travel uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognized by the Authority Consumer and Market (ACM). Luggage transport
The luggage service is included in the price of the bike tour. Please note that:
- Your luggage needs to be at the reception no later than 09.00 am.
- Your luggage must have a label of Friesland Holland Travel (you will receive the labels together with the documentation)
- Your luggage can be delivered until 18.00hr (if the luggage is not at the reception at 18.00, please call the emergency number in your documentation)
- 1 piece of luggage per person, max. 15kg.
- If you want to bring more pieces of luggage, please contact Friesland Holland Travel
Bicycle assistance (optional € 10,00 p.p.):
If the bicycle assistance is booked in advance, you will receive a new bicycle (within 1,5 hours) in case of a breakdown. This applies to your own bicycle and to rental bicycles. We will then bring the broken bicycle to the end point of your trip, here is your car parked.
